Great Send from Joanne Struz!

Hi There!

Look what I found! Mike and I took a trip to Toronto in 2009 to see the Boston Red Sox play. An unexpected highlight of this trip was our visit to the Hockey Hall of Fame. It was wonderful! We stayed there for four hours enjoying everything. Our visit brought back memories of those "good old hockey days" of the 60's and 70's.

At the end of the tour we were able to have this photo taken with the Stanley Cup. Who knew, although we always hoped, that it would once again belong to The Boston Bruins in 2011. Hooray!

Go Bruins!

Happy Father's Day!

Great Shares from Fred Ciampi!

Rose,

On Monday (June 13) Jean and I met Sal and Carolyn in Rockport for lunch.  As usual we had a great afternoon reminiscing.

We took a walking tour of Rockport, I hadn't been there in over 30 years. There have been a lot of changes.

Then we ended up back at the hotel and took a few pictures.

We are looking forward to the reunion next year.

Fred

Message to our classmates from Fred Ciampi!

We lost another classmate.

Rose,

We lost Russell King this week. He passed away June 12th, and was buried today.

I will always remember the huge forest painting with a deer in it, that his father painted on the entire back wall of his garage which was on Reservoir Ave. We were kids in elementary school.

Billy

(Billy, I researched the Revere Journal and found this)

Pauline Riley Memorial - Eulogy presented by Meri

TO PAULINE

It was long ago, we were little fifth grade kids, Yet we all remember you so clearly; You were cute and smart, always smiling and fun to be with, We are still sorrowful and miss you dearly.

That a good friend, a dear classmate, a neighborhood chum could somehow lose her life so tragically still fills us with horror and brings us to tears, And we wish we could dispel such memories, somehow. . . magically. . .

But we can’t. That tragic day is still etched in our minds and is remembered in detail with utter disbelief.  That a horrible “accident” took you from us, (a murder in our little city!) Still causes great anguish and heartfelt grief.

Your family was destroyed, our whole community was in shock.  And we, your friends, are still reeling from the event, That such a thing could happen to someone we knew so well, Is incredible. A brother could just “snap” and become so violent?

That he could go so crazy as to do what he did (I can’t even say the words) To end his only sister’s beautiful, brief life, is just too horrible to express. Who can explain such things, or ever understand what happened? It leaves us bewildered, with heartache, and in complete distress.

Today we wish to remember you, the lovely child you were, and to memorialize your life, however brief. And we all want to say:

Dear Pauline, we love you and will never forget you.  We hope that you Rest In Peace for all eternity, for this we pray.

Pauline is in the bottom row, right to left, third one in.
