Great Send from Arthur Buonopane!

Rose:

What can I say? It was absolutely great to see you at the 50th. Sandy enjoyed herself as much as all our classmates did. She especially enjoyed meeting you and then reminiscing about the North End with you. She also reminisced with Elaine Sasso and Marie (Joe Aloisi's wife) who all knew people in the North End. It was a fabulous reunion. The night went by all too fast.

Rose, this reunion was not only special because it was our 50th but special because of you. The Lantern website has drawn us closer and closer since you have started it. It almost seems as if we are still walking the halls of Revere High and seeing each other every day. All I can say is a heartfelt "thank you". I know everyone on this website appreciates what you have done.

To John Henry and the committee a very big "thank you" as well for all the work you put into the 50th and the other reunions over the years. I know there is a lot of work and time involved and when you all looked around last Friday night at Spinelli's, I'm sure you knew that you all did something very special.

After seeing Roger on the dance floor I have one question for Mary "how do you keep up with him?"   Also, our other professional ballroom dancer, Peter Zaccone and his lovely girlfriend, Diane Whiles.

Chuckie and Diane you have a beautiful house but I have one question-was there enough food? You will be eating the leftovers till Labor Day.

I was just waiting for those pictures to be posted and I wasn't disappointed.

I shared some wonderful memories and I know that all my classmates are feeling the same.

It was GREAT to see everyone.

Great Shares from Fred Ciampi!

Rose,

The Reunion was great followed by what was an even better BBQ. Saw a lot of friends I haven't seen since 1962.

Hope you had a safe trip home. Jean and I stopped in Washington D.C. for a couple of days rest.

I am enclosing a link for a few pictures.

Sal Carmosino is requesting a Prayer Request

Dear Friends,

I couldn't stand it anymore so I called my primary doctor.  They took me right away and have scheduled me for comprehensive blood work tomorrow and want me to have a CT Scan on my stomach for a possible blockage.

They will call me tomorrow for that scheduled appointment. I'm glad i called since my gastro doctor wasn't able to see be in 3 weeks. Now they will send all of this info to him and he may decide on a Colonospcopy.........

I'm down to one meal a day...none of the pills work anymore.  I need St Jude again...and any prayers I can get.....

I have had a Colonoscopy 5 years ago.. but with this new development they may wish for another one.

Prayers in the Lantern helped me greatly before...which would be a great help to my emotions.

I had the blood test today and the Abdominal CT Scan scheduled for Monday...Ill be a nervous wreck all weekend....

Message from Billy Melchionno

Rose,

I just found out we lost Theresa Falzone's younger brother Phil this week. I think you knew him, as he was one year younger than us in school.

I look forward to seeing you next week!

Rose:
I just saw the emails regarding your sisters passing. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
Arthur

Thank you everyone for all your condolences, phone calls and emails. Very much appreciated. Janice called from St.Pete and Anne Farrell called from California.  I'm truly blessed with so many wonderful friends!  We are such a great bunch.  No one else has what we had growing up in Revere.  The calls continue to come in and I'm very grateful to have such caring friends.

I come from a very large family. I have lost four brothers, three brother-in-laws.  I've also lost two nephews and one niece.  And now my oldest sister.  So painful.  So sad.

Hugs, Rose
