Message from Paula Taylor!

I HAD MY SURGERY AND TUMOR WAS BENIGN. THEY REMOVED THE TUMOR WHILE I WAS UNDER. MY DOCTOR IS MORE CONCERNED RIGHT NOW ABOUT MY EXCESSIVE WEIGHT LOSS. HE DOES NOT FEEL IT IS DUE TO THE THYROID.

I HAVE LOST A TOTAL OF 52 POUNDS. TWENTY ONE OF THOSE POUNDS WERE LOST IN THE LAST THREE MONTHS. I AM EATING GOOD. I EVEN HAVE ICE CREAM FRAPPES AT NIGHT. I EAT MEALS AFTER 8PM BECAUSE THE METABOLISM SLOWS DOWN AT NIGHT.

HE HAD THEM TAKE BLOOD FROM ME BEFORE I LEFT MGH TO DO SOME TESTS. THANK GOD HE GAVE ME NUMBING SPRAY AND MEDICINE FOR THE SORE THROAT SO THAT I CAN EAT FOOD AND NOT HAVE IT BE PAINFUL.

I WILL BE BACK TO WORKING MY 10 HOUR SHIFT TOMORROW. HE SAID THAT HE WAS NOT GOING TO TELL ME TO STAY HOME AND RELAX BECAUSE HE KNEW I WOULD GO RIGHT BACK TO WORK ANYWAY.

TELL EVERYONE THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL THE PRAYERS.

Happy Mother's Day!

Mother's Day comes once a year. Some think that if they buy their mother flowers and a card that they have fulfilled their obligation for the rest of the year.

If we only comprehended a 10th of what our mothers did for us as children, and how they would literally die for us if needed, we would realize that one day is not sufficient.

Most of us have lost our mothers and still miss them. We have fond memories.

Most of us are Mothers ourselves and some are even grandparents so we treasure every moment of being a parent.

Being a Mother is a full time job no matter how old your child is now.

Requesting Prayers for Paula Taylor!

I WENT TO SEE DR CLARK TODAY AND I HAVE A TUMOR.

I WILL BE GETTING IT BIOPSIED NEXT TUESDAY.

DR. CLARK DOES NOT FEEL LIKE I IS CANCER BUT IT HAS
TO BE CHECKED.

THE TUMOR IS IN MY THROAT. I AM SURE IT IS NOT
CANCER. I CAN SEE IT AND IT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE
THE ONE THAT WAS CANCER.

IT NEVER HURTS TO HAVE PRAYERS TO HELP.

I WILL BE FINE. GOD DOESN'T WANT ME NOW AND THE DEVIL
IS AFRAID I MIGHT SHOW UP!!!

Dear Friends, It is hard to believe that 2013 will mark five years since the loss of our beloved grandson, Ronan James McCarthy. Our hearts remain heavy with his loss and we sorely miss his presence in our family. We are blessed and comforted with many loving memories of our beautiful and joyful angel, who spread joy and love to all who knew him in his short three years. In loving memory of Ronan we will participate for the fourth year in the 2013 GREAT STRIDES WALK for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF). The 2013 event will take place at the Wakefield Lower Common at Lake Quannapowitt on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 9:30 A.M. as TEAM STAR STRIDERS. Our family has always referred to Ronan as our "shining star", thus we chose our team name with this in mind. Over the past three years TEAM STAR STRIDERS, through funds raised for our Great Strides Walks, have donated more than $13,000 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.to help find a cure for this devastating disease and to improve the quality of life for CF patients.We hope to meet or surpass our team goal to raise $4000 in 2013 with your kind and generous help. Your donation will be used efficiently and effectively, as nearly 90 cents of every dollar of revenue raised is available for investment in vital CF programs to support research, care, and education.
