Thank You to everyone for your thoughts and prayers.

Last week, I sent out a Request for Prayers for my son, James. Your prayers are most appreciated.

All the tests have been done for CML (Chronic Myeloid Leukemia) including a bone marrow biopsy and he is now waiting for precertification to begin treatments. The waiting game is frustrating.

I am a worry wart by nature especially when it comes to my children. I, therefore, turned to you my dear friends for prayers and everyone one of you have emailed me and staying beside me through out this serious matter. Please continue to pray. I also thank all of you for your words of encouragement and sincere concern. You guys are the best!

Any mother will tell you that she will starve herself from any sanity when it comes to their children and they don't understand why. That's okay though because it's in our handbook to worry and loose sleep and cry over them.

It is hard living out of state and waiting for the phone to ring with further information. My son knew all about this when I was up there for Christmas but did not tell me. He was waiting for a second opinion before calling me to give me the news. He also did not want to spoil Christmas and my Birthday.

I'm so blessed to have all of you as friends.

Update on Louise McGurin from Paula Taylor!

I talked to Louise's husband today and she s doing well right now. She had to have brain surgery because she started to bleed into the brain. She is now doing chemo and radiation.

She will be in the hospital for three weeks. Fran said they are going to let her come home for Christmas. I told Fran to tell Louise that we are all praying for her.

He gave me her phone number so that I can keep in touch with her. Tell all to pray hard for her. She is in good spirits and she is a fighter.
