It is Spring in Tampa.
The Flowers are from Jeans' Gardenia.
We will have Figs Soon.
This tree is from a cutting off a Fig Tree I planted in San Diego in 1988. We took the a cutting when we moved to Tampa.

Wow, did you bring back memories!
ReplyDeleteMy brother-in-law gave me a cutting from his fig tree from Everett, Massachusetts the day I moved to Florida in 1989.
It survived and I enjoyed those wonderful fresh figs for 8 long years after I planted them in the custom built home when I first moved to Florida.
I'm in a condo now and I sure miss that Fig Tree, the Lemon Tree, the orange Tree, nothing better than going in your backyard and picking your own fresh fruit and/or vegetables!
Thanks for sharing! I'm going to see if a Fig Tree will grow in a huge pot in my patio...it's worth a try. I did it with a tomatoe plant and that worked just fine from dried seeds from my father's garden from Revere!
