Rose:
What can I say? It was absolutely great to see you at the 50th. Sandy enjoyed herself as much as all our classmates did. She especially enjoyed meeting you and then reminiscing about the North End with you. She also reminisced with Elaine Sasso and Marie (Joe Aloisi's wife) who all knew people in the North End. It was a fabulous reunion. The night went by all too fast.
Rose, this reunion was not only special because it was our 50th but special because of you. The Lantern website has drawn us closer and closer since you have started it. It almost seems as if we are still walking the halls of Revere High and seeing each other every day. All I can say is a heartfelt "thank you". I know everyone on this website appreciates what you have done.
To John Henry and the committee a very big "thank you" as well for all the work you put into the 50th and the other reunions over the years. I know there is a lot of work and time involved and when you all looked around last Friday night at Spinelli's, I'm sure you knew that you all did something very special.
After seeing Roger on the dance floor I have one question for Mary "how do you keep up with him?" Also, our other professional ballroom dancer, Peter Zaccone and his lovely girlfriend, Diane Whiles.
Chuckie and Diane you have a beautiful house but I have one question-was there enough food? You will be eating the leftovers till Labor Day.
I was just waiting for those pictures to be posted and I wasn't disappointed.
I shared some wonderful memories and I know that all my classmates are feeling the same.
Arthur Buonopane and Sandy
Thank you for all your kind words.
ReplyDeleteI agree, everyone on the Committee worked very hard for this wonderful event that will remain in the corridors of our minds forever!
Hugs, Rose
