Great Shares by Richard Cummings

Hi Rose,

You and others might like this.

These are my photos taken a year ago when I was in Bucharest, Romania giving a paper at a conference. The church is named Biserica Sf. Spiridon Vechi, which was “founded in the 17th century by some Christian Syrian merchants, still preserves the original inscription with Arab writing. Demolished during the Nicolae Ceausescu regime, it was rebuilt identically after 1990.”
Take care. Rich

  6. Anon calling. Thanks you very much, Janice. Photgraphy is a very special to me. There is something magic about seeing something for the first time and then "click" goes the camera shutter. Many times, the "thrill" of taking the photograph was better than the photograph itself. When I was a Criminal Investigator in Boston, I always carried my camera and left the gun in the trunk. The department director always asked my supervisor "Why is Cummings always carrying the camera with him". He never knew about the trunk. I guess I always did march to a different drum. The camera is still always with me.
