Dear Rose:
Sorry not to have been in touch, but I/we have been so busy with our daughter's wedding a couple of weeks ago. The wedding was amazing and we couldn't be happier with every aspect of it. The Artists for Humanity venue in South Boston was truly wonderful and a perfect place for a wedding. The weather was absolutely perfect, the food was beyond compare and most importantly, the wedding ceremony was beautiful, touching and memorable. Everyone danced all night, had a drink here or there (boy, what an understatement) and told us they had the most wonderful time.
One of my very best friends, Rich Bonaventura and his lovely wife Debbie, attended the wedding and it was wonderful to see him again. This made the experience even better for me.
I had been hard at work making my "travel schedule" for my job and I am now "in the middle" of that travel as I recruit students for my university. I also expect that I will travel to Korea and Israel this year; Korea for business and Israel to attend the "second" wedding for my daughter and her husband. Abbey and her husband Oded will move to Israel on October 20 (Oded is Israeli) and Abbey will become a "dual citizen" and in order to do so, needs to be married in Israel as well. So, this should be exciting and fun.
Ok, enough for now. I hope all of your "readership" are doing well and would love to hear from my old friends and classmates.
Be well, Joe Greenberg
Hi Joe,
ReplyDeleteI knew you and your wife were going be busy as I remembered your daughter was getting married in September.
So happy for you that the gala affair went off beautifully and that Richard B. and his wife attended the wedding. I know his friendship means a lot to you.
Wow, sounds like you will continue to be super busy with more travel and all.
Always a pleasure to hear from you and I know our classmates love hearing from you as well.
Safe journey and write when you can.
When you find the time, try and send some photos of this beautiful wedding!
Hugs, Rose
The wedding sounded great.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your travels, Sounds great.
So glad that you are back with us...
