Sal Carmosino in ER this morning!

Sal woke up with severe chest pains this morning which prompted a 5 hour long stay at the ER this morning.  After calling his Cardiologist, he insisted an ambulance to the hospital for an immediate CT Scan.

Sal had a Ct. Scan, EKG, chest Xray and blood work.  The pain was not from the aneurysm which is still stable thank goodness.

Sal was informed that sometimes a switch in Blood Pressure medication can cause chest pain which is what his doctor did……..but it was a gastric flareup or Gerd which is something Sal has had for some time.

They prescribed Pravacid for 30 days…Maalox when necessary.  He has a small cyst on his lung which they found has shrunk a little bit.  Sal knew he had cyst and that was good news that it shrunk.  Blood work good, kidneys were o.k.

Sal said the Maalox worked almost immediately and the diagnosis was correct so he will abide by that advice.

Sal requested that I email all of you to thank you for your prayers, thoughts and support.  He said he was thinking of all of us while in the ambulance which he said has been a source of strength for him in the past and helped him through this medical scare today.
