Befitting the way the Red Sox battled all season long, they still had a chance at Sunday night's Game 7 of the American League Championship Series.
As Dustin Pedroia put it, the Red Sox ran out of "magic," losing to the Rays by a score of 3-1 in a tense, riveting contest. Just like that, the Red Sox saw their chances of becoming baseball's first repeat World Series champions since the Yankees -- who won three in a row from 1998-2000 -- come to an end. Sad day in Boston.

Who was RHS baseball player who had a scout at one of his games? I remember we were all looking to see who the scout was. He was not in our class. I think it was a Red Sox scout too.
ReplyDeleteoops, the name Sammy MacDonald or MacDonough seems to ring a bell but I csould be way off
ReplyDeleteRose,
ReplyDeleteHad a look at the graphics, and the issue lies with the graphics-files themselves. If the GIF- or JPG-file is not created to be transparent (which you require), then you will keep a white background. I tried to tweak opacity (i.e. transparency), but that did not have the desired result.
