Great Share from Dora DiBartolomeo Vickery!





Every year for at leat 25 years, we have been filling laundry baskets with all the fixings for Thanksgiving dinner. We do about 6 of them. We do the Turkey, veggies, salad, stuffing, and everything else you need. We donate them to St Vincent DePaul. Last year we were in Arizona for Thanksgiving, so we did baskets out there and donated them to the St Vincent de Paul at our church out there. We even helped with the distribution.

    Dora,

    When I received your eamil this morning and we were chatting mostly about Medicare issues then when on the topic of Thanksgiving came up and you told me of your generosity, I just had to put this on the Lantern.

    I just had to post this wonderful donation that you and Charlie do every year. God Bless You!

    Dora, that's so nice. It's hard to remember others when we get so caught up in our own lives during the holidays. What a wonderful thing to do.
