John,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this information to us. I'm sure many of us that still live in the area will love to attend.
I was in panic mode when I first saw your email, as it was always to give us sad news. Sooooooo delighted that this email was pleasant and great news!
I was unable to put the brochure on The Lantern as it was in a PDF form. I'll play with it later after the gym and see if there is a way I can get in on here.
Thanks again John!
Best of luck to John Lanza!
Hugs, Rose
I will surely be there. I'm in the middle of reading the book and it is terrific! Very well-written and a great story. Can't wait to hear John at the library.
ReplyDeleteJohn, I was able to make the announcement but I was only able to send the PDF file separately.
ReplyDeleteReally captivating story. John's uncle was such handsome man!
I'm going out to buy the book. I hope others will be joining Meri at the Library on Sept. 14th for the Book Discussion and Signing.
Hugs,Rose
HI Rose,
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing story, I am going to find the book.
MY dad was in the war and only in his old age did he talk about being in Europe.
My dad was on anti-air craft in the Army. The gun was named after me. I always wanted to write a book about his experiances in Europe. He saw a lot of action. Talked to German prisoners of war.
He was in the Battle of the Bulge and D-Day. He received medals, but said the guys who died deserved them not the ones who lived.
