  1. Rich,

How have your been? We miss you here at The Lantern. I get to see you on Facebook but not everyone from our gang is on there and they are missing out on all of your great photos.

Wow, can't believe Revere without Suffolk Downs and Wonderland!

    Thanks for sharing.

    Hugs, Rose

  3. Great memories of Wonderland, Rich, but I, for one, am glad it's closed. Sorry about the folks who lost their jobs there, of course, but perhaps we as a society can offer these employees other opportunities that do not involve people throwing away their hard earned money.
In fact, I wish all gambling establishments were abolished--don't like them, don't believe we need them, and don't think they enhance our culture in any way, shape or form. Yes, I know, some people will always find a way to lose their money. . . they'll bet on anything. . . but really, do we have to sanction it by providing these emporiums? I'd just as soon close all the dog tracks, horse tracks and casinos all over the country.

  4. Rich, loved your entry on Wonderland. I have some great memories of there. As a matter of fact my old boyfriends bran new powder blue Chevy Impala convertable was a tribute to wonderland....LOL Went there on many a date and dined there too.
I do feel bad for all that lost there jobs while the state played there games. The reg Joe is the one who lost out.
