Great Send from Richard Cummings!

So you find yourself in Dublin, Ireland, on a rainy, windy Sunday waiting to catch an airplane back to Düsseldorf. You are hungry. And there it is! An American Diner: Eddie Rocket's City Diner.

Well, you gotta go in...gotta try a Irish Cheddar Cheeseburger--they are "homemade, after all--and, of course, a strawberry shake. You order, look around, and find the jukebox whatchamacallit on the counter along with the Heinz Ketchup bottle. And, eureka! A still life photograph: "3 Way Chilli."=

Hope you like it.

  1. Hi Richard,

Oh my, I miss the old diners! I remember the one that used to be on Route One in Saugus.

I miss those little juke boxes! What was it 3 songs for a quarter or was it a dime?

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing another amazing photo!

Wow, you have been traveling around quite a bit.

We all love hearing from you!

    Hugs, Rose

  3. Rich, I just read your entry again and all I could think of was that no matter where you travel to a bit of home always seems to follow.
    Nice hearing from you again.
