Great Sends for Easter! I attached the link to your entire Lantern Photo Album for everyone to view...especially the newbies to our site, as they would have to search back in October of 2008 to find it.
Wow, we've come a long way since then here in the Lantern! I couldn't have done it without all your help and amazing photos to post online. You were also one of the first to respond to The Lantern with a "Comment". Thanks!
Richard, Your photos are beautiful. Do you use a special macro lens? I also love taking close up photos of flowers but lighting is not as dramatic as yours (and my photos not as professional either). Also wondering if you use PhotoShop much? Change of subject----last time I drove through Beachmont, I saw that our old Mary T. Ronan School is now a nursing/assisted-living home. Do you remember the Air Raid drills in the basement of the school? Ruth Arvanian Bowler
Rich, I keep going back to look at 'peace' flower. It is so delicate and I can see the water drops just softly dropping off of them. It is, for me anyway, amazing. Being able to capture the flower at the right moment in the right light is only half the story, The other half is having the eye to see it's worthy beauty. Again thanks for sharing. And oh yes, Ruthie we need more from you too.........
