Bill Melchionno:
Hi Rose,  You have my support on the Lantern Project! I will try and stay more in touch with your communications. Lest you forget that our friendship goes all the way back to elementary school at the McKinley since the first grade and I have the pictures to prove it!  Every time I go by Fenno Street, I look at your old stucco house and think of you and Ralph!  Keep up the good work and I will try and feed you information pertaining to our classmates when I see them!

John Henry, Class President:
I can reproduce our yearbook in September when I can secure a clean copy. Reproduction and mailing expenses to be determined.  We can offer the reproduced yearbook so we need to determine the total number that we have to reproduce.

So all that are interested in a reproduced yearbook please send email to  jhenry@revere.org put "RHS 1962 Yearbook" in the subject line and leave your name and email address.

First, my compliments to Rose Franciosa Sisti on a fabulous job!  We are lucky to have her.  Also, I am thrilled to read about our wonderful classmates!  In fact, one of the reasons that I have moved back to this area (I have lived in Lynnfied for over 20 years) is that I realize how fortunate I am. . . to have grown up in Revere among such good people and to have made such great friends.  I have the fondest memories of those bygone days. . .how safe and secure it was, where everyone knew me or some member of my family. . . it truly was like a village. . .what a great place to grow up!  The beach was fabulous, and besides swimming and walking (to see who was around and to be seen, of course) and eating Bianchi's pizza and Richie's slush, remember playing whist for hours?

And our high school was terrific. I had fun and got a great education, too.  In fact, when I went away to school, to an exclusive college among girls from wealthy communities and influential families,I often knew more than they did as a result of the fine teachers we had in the accelerated class.

Anyway, after having "travelled the world" and living in Washington, D.C. among other places, it is great to be back "home" and reconnecting with Revere people.  Look forward to hearing from more of you out there.

Leatrice Cardone:
Greetings Rose, Thanks for taking on this project you are doing a wonderful job and I have enjoyed reading about my classmates.  Unfortunately I no longer have my high school year book and without it don't know who most of the people are.  It would be great if you could do a before and after picture of our class.  However, that may be a huge project and more than you might want to take on.  I have a basic understanding of the computer but that is where it ends.

I have been married a couple of times, divorced about 20 years, no children.  For the past 20 years I have been living in Ventura, California.  I am an Occupational Therapist and work with children with disabilities.

We had a great class reunion last year and I got to see so many of the old crowd.
I have to get in touch with Nancy Vass to let her know about the pic of her sister
Liz.

I am still at Revere High. I work there doing security. It is hard to believe
that they need security and a police sub station there now because of all the
problems they have.

I am going to Washington state in a couple of weeks to see my daughter and my
2 grandchildren.  I am also planning attending the class of 63 reunionin place of my sister Ellie, who passed away this past February. I am looking forward to seeing alot of
the people who graduated in 63.

I hope that more people will get involved in this blog that Rose created. We may
even get in touch with people who have disappeared over the years.

Correction in previous publication of Shares!  Oops!

I was just informed that the little darling in the photo is not Ellen Crowley...it is Elizabeth Vass, sister of Nancy Vass who graduated with us.  The site would not allow me to correct it in the actual entry of "It is Picture Time".

Thanks for the information!!!!!!  I know some of my viewers are paying attention!!!!!! LOL
