My digital SLR camera died on me so I went out and bought a compact...here is one of my first results. Hope you like it. Ciao for now. Rich

    I don't know what happened the last time I checked the Blog but this last post was messed up and I lost he three "Comments" that were left on this Entry......two were from me and one from Ruthie......Sorry......

    So,Ruthie......can you please post your comment again. It was asking Rich advice about a new camera.

    Hi Ruthie, et al. The camera I bought is the Canon G10. It is not that compact due to its size and weight, but it is an excellent camera. It reminds me of the old range finder film cameras and probably the reason my heart reacted so strongly when I first saw one. Then I read a bunch of reviews, picked one up and played with it. I was convinced that the Canon G10 would be the one for me.

    Hi Rich,
    Love the photo and the detail. What is the new camera you got? I've been looking for a compact that has a good macro lens for when I'm in too much of a hurry to use my Rebel SLR.
