The Bear is the symbol of Berlin and from where it's name comes. The building in the background is the old airport in Berlin, where I "worked" in the mid-to -late 1960s.
I am not sure if I had already sent this, or not. If so, then here it is, again. Have a nice Thursday. Rich

Hi Rich,
ReplyDeleteNo, you did not send this before. I love it.
I did not know the "bear" is the symbol of Berlin!
Thanks for sharing.
Hugs, Rose
P.S. You look great!
Rich,
ReplyDeleteI remember an old phrase about Germany it had something to do about waking the sleeping bear. I had forgotton all about it till I saw your last post. I also never knew that the bear was the symbol of Germany. A resturant in Az that I go to called the Black Bear seems to have a German theme around it. Ahhh the things we learn from the the little things in life....

ReplyDeleteI meant to tell you before that I love the added feature of the past posts, I found it fun to go back and review them here and there. It is a nice little reminder of some the great posts we've had along the way.
Great idea
Dora,
ReplyDeleteYou are the first person to mention the new feature I added. So delighted to get back some feedback and that you liked it.
It randomly selects three old entries....I don't select them. I thought it was a great feature especially for some Newbies on this site that aren't aware they can view older posts by using the sidebar tool and get into the archives.
Thanks Dora, I very much appreciate your input.
Hugs, Rose
P.S. So proud of you doing so well on the computer which is fairly new to you....Kudos! I know everyone appreciates your participation on the Lantern.
